General Information

The Unreal Engine course

During the first day of the Unreal Engine 5 Zero to HERO course we will teach you about the Unreal Engine 5 interface and its key properties. The training will start by looking into the elements of a 3D application such as materials, meshes and textures. We will then move on to study and find ways to make the objects move and animate, using the animation tool, physics and particles. This course lays down a solid foundation for students to move on to creating their own game.

In the Unreal Engine 5 Zero to HERO course we will dive into the new features within Unreal Engine 5 including Nanite, Lumen, Expansive Worlds, Animations and MetaSounds.

Certification Exam

There is no official Unreal Engine certification exam included. You will receive a certificate of completion and course notes as part of the course.

Free Resit

There is a free Unreal Engine 5 Zero to HERO course re-take within 18 months after course completion.

Online or in-class

Unreal Engine 5 Zero to HERO course duration is FIVE days and is available in a live online format or in person. Unreal Engine 5 Zero to HERO course in-person training occurs on weekdays based in London and Manchester UK.

Online training for the Unreal Engine 5 Zero to HERO course is 9:30 am to 4:30 pm (UK time) in the United Kingdom and from 9 am to 3 pm (US Central Standard Time) in the United States.

Software for live online training

You will need Unreal Engine 5 installed before the course starts. Download Unreal Engine 5 via the Epic Games Launcher and make sure you can open a new project on your machine.
