This 2-day Adobe Premiere Pro Advanced course is designed for experienced video editors who are ready to move beyond everyday editing and master the professional workflows, advanced tools and technical skills used in high-end broadcast, commercial and post-production environments.

The course covers advanced production pipelines, complex sequence management, professional audio mixing, advanced colour grading with Lumetri Colour, compositing and green screen techniques, AI-powered editing tools, motion graphics, Creative Cloud integration and broadcast delivery — all taught through hands-on practical exercises rather than passive lecture-based learning.

Delivered by an Adobe Certified Instructor at an Adobe Authorised Training Centre, this is one of the most comprehensive Adobe Premiere Pro Advanced courses available in the UK. The Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) exam and certification fee are fully included in the course fee, making this the most cost-effective route to becoming an officially certified Premiere Pro editor.

Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) Certification

This Adobe Premiere Pro Advanced course includes full preparation for the Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) accreditation — an internationally recognised qualification issued directly by Adobe that validates your expertise in professional video editing. The ACP exam fee and certification are included in the course fee at no additional charge. One free exam resit is also included should you need it.

The ACP exam consists of two parts. Part One includes multiple choice and hotspot questions testing your theoretical knowledge. Part Two involves practical, task-based questions completed directly within Adobe Premiere Pro, assessing your ability to apply skills in a real-world editing environment. The exam takes approximately 50 minutes and can be completed remotely.

Academy Class is a registered training provider with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), which means government funding through Universal Credit may be available towards the course fee, subject to eligibility and approval from your Jobcentre work coach.

Equipment and Software

For in-class training, all equipment, workstations and Adobe Premiere Pro software are provided at the training venue. Students do not need to bring a laptop.

For live online training, students will need access to Adobe Premiere Pro installed on their own computer. You can use an existing Creative Cloud subscription or download the free 07-day Adobe trial, which covers the full duration of the course. A stable internet connection, a headset with microphone and a second screen are also recommended for the best online learning experience.

Students who are new to Adobe Premiere Pro should consider the Premiere Pro Beginner course or the Premiere Pro Zero to Hero programme first.
