General Information

The After Effects Intermediate course

The After Effects Intermediate course is designed for users who already understand the basics of Adobe After Effects and want to develop more advanced motion graphics and compositing skills. During the training you will work with advanced keyframe animation, parenting, pre-composing, masks, motion tracking, and expressions to build more complex animations.

You will also learn how to work with 3D layers, cameras, lighting, and advanced effects workflows, helping you create more dynamic motion graphics and visual effects. Through hands-on projects you will apply professional techniques used in video production, digital media, and motion design.

The Adobe After Effects Intermediate training course will strengthen your motion graphics skills and prepare you for the Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) accreditation, demonstrating recognised expertise in Adobe After Effects.

Certification Exam

Your Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) exam is included and can be taken during the course period. One free exam resit is also included in the course price.

Certified Instructors

All our instructors are Adobe Certified Instructors (ACI) with professional industry experience.

Free Resit

You receive a free After Effects Intermediate course resit within 18 months after completing the training.

Online or in-class

The After Effects Intermediate course is a 03-day programme available live online or in person. Classroom training takes place in London and Manchester (UK).

Online classes run 9:30am–4:30pm (UK time) and 9am–3pm (US Central Standard Time).

Platforms

The Adobe After Effects Intermediate course can be completed on Windows or Mac.

Software for live online training

You will need access to Adobe After Effects. You can use your own Creative Cloud subscription or download the Adobe 7-day free trial for the course duration.

Not ideal if:

• You are completely new to Adobe After Effects and have not yet learned the core tools, animation basics, or keyframe workflows. In this case, our After Effects Zero to HEROor theAfter Effects Beginner course would be the recommended starting point.

Assumed knowledge:

• Basic experience using Adobe After Effects
• Understanding of layers, keyframes, and simple animations
• Confident using a computer and managing project files
