The DaVinci Resolve Colour Grading 3-day course teaches beginners how to colour correct footage, grade professionally and use industry standard workflows for film and video production.
No previous experience is required, making this course ideal for beginners who want to learn professional colour grading in just 3 days.
This hands on training course will teach you the key tools & the colour correction & grading process.
A person who wishes to work in the video field or who currently works in the field, looking to learn advanced node pipelines, animation techniques and RAW file format theory and workflows. Some students may be mainly interested in creating video primarily for the Web, and others for film, but the majority are preparing more for work in broadcast video.
Before taking this course, you should have a basic understanding of your computers operating system. For example, you should know how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CD and other media.

This day covers more advanced grading workflows and looks behind the curtain of many Resolve processes that manipulate the image data. We’ll look at group grading, raw corrections and final delivery.

During any of the phases in the course, students are free to ask any questions specific to their workflow. In 90% of cases everything they need to know will be covered, but some very specific workflows can be discussed.
The DaVinci Resolve Mastering Colour Grading course is a three day training programme designed for beginners and developing editors who want to learn professional colour correction and grading techniques using DaVinci Resolve. During the course you will learn how to organise projects, understand the Resolve interface and build efficient grading workflows used in film, television and digital content production.
You will work with balancing footage, shot matching, masks, keyers, nodes and OpenFX tools to improve image quality and create consistent results across a project. The course also covers advanced workflows including group grading, RAW media adjustments, HDR workflows, noise reduction and final delivery settings.
Through hands on exercises and real world examples, you will develop the confidence to colour grade footage professionally and produce polished video content using industry standard workflows.
All instructors are experienced industry professionals with practical post production expertise.
You receive a free course resit within 18 months after completing the training.
The DaVinci Resolve Mastering Colour Grading course is available live online or in person in London and Manchester.
The course can be completed on Windows or Mac systems.
You will need access to DaVinci Resolve. You can use the free version or DaVinci Resolve Studio.
