Our Figma Zero to Hero course for Beginners is a practical UI UX training programme designed to help learners create professional interface designs, prototypes and design systems using Figma. Ideal for beginners, and aspiring UI UX professionals, this course gives you the skills to design and present digital products with confidence.
The Figma Zero to Hero course is for anyone who wants to design professional UI screens and clickable prototypes using modern product team workflows. It suits beginners who need a structured, guided start as well as designers who are self-taught and want to work faster, cleaner and more consistently.
UI designers, UX designers, graphic designers, marketers, product managers and founders will benefit, especially if you need to collaborate in a shared file, hand work over to developers and present design decisions with confidence.
You should be confident using a computer, managing files and learning software through guided practice. Prior experience with UI or graphic design tools helps but is not required. If you can navigate websites and apps and you are willing to practise, you can start here.
“Really enjoyed the course and felt I can take alot away from it to apply to my work and to personally develop further.”

While there are no strict prerequisites, having a basic understanding of design concepts and familiarity with graphic design software can be beneficial. Participants with prior exposure to UI/UX principles may find it easier to grasp certain concepts, but the course is structured to accommodate learners with varying levels of experience.
In essence, enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn are the key prerequisites for this course. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to enhance your existing design skills, our comprehensive curriculum ensures that participants of all backgrounds can follow along and build a strong foundation in Figma and UI design principles.
In the Figma Zero to HERO course you will learn UI design principles, then apply them in Figma through hands-on work. You will build layouts using grids and constraints, create reusable components, develop consistent styles and build a practical design system. You will also design flows and turn them into interactive prototypes that you can test, present and hand over to a team.
There is no official Figma certification exam included. You will receive a certificate of completion and leave with portfolio-ready UI screens and prototypes that demonstrate your skills.
Your course is taught by certified instructors with real industry experience, focusing on practical workflows used by modern design teams.
There is a free Figma Zero to HERO course re-take within 18 months after course completion.
