This UX / UI Design Zero to HERO course is for design practitioners, developers, product managers, marketers, usability professionals and decision-makers who want a clear, structured route into UX and UI. It is ideal if you want to understand modern UX roles, work confidently through a user-centred design framework and build a portfolio with properly framed documentation, not just attractive screens.
Alongside the theory, you will complete practical activities throughout the week including quick wins, short tasks based on specific topics and a longer daily activity where you build an interactive product. By the end of the course you will have strong UX knowledge, first prototypes to show and targeted preparation for the BCS Foundation exam.
No UX / UI design knowledge is required. You should be confident using a computer and managing files. You will be working with the internet and common documents, so basic comfort with everyday software is helpful.

You will firstly learn essential UX tools and processes in the UX / UI Design Zero to HERO course including user research, personas, user stories, information architecture, interaction design and visual design principles. Advance your new skills further by creating prototypes, selecting and running appropriate tests and learning how to present UX work clearly through properly framed documentation and portfolio output. The UX / UI Design Zero to HERO training course will efficiently prepare you for the BCS UX Certified exam and help you confidently manage UX processes using a proven, user-centred design framework based on ISO 9241-210.
You will gain focused preparation for the BCS Foundation exam and work through the type of questions asked in the certification. This course is designed to support a clear route to BCS UX Certification.

There is a free UX / UI Design Zero to HERO course re-take within 18 months after course completion.
UX / UI Design Zero to HERO course duration is FIVE days and is available in a live online format or in person. UX / UI Design Zero to HERO course in-person training occurs on weekdays based in London and Manchester UK.
Online training for the UX / UI Design Zero to HERO course is 9:30 am to 4:30 pm (UK time) in the United Kingdom and from 9 am to 3 pm (US Central Standard Time) in the United States.
UX / UI Design Zero to HERO course can be completed on either Windows or Mac platforms.
You will need access to a computer with a stable internet connection. Any tools and templates required during the course will be introduced by your instructor.
